I didn't know Vanni lived in Winnipeg, too.... a few more members like that in here, and this Forum will be "certifiable"!

RE: Rev and Vanni must be

This will all be gone by the weekend. It's just a little bit of snow to frighten off any BCians who were considering coming out and stealing candy from the kids on Halloween.

I'll never understand that whole sledding thing. If I want to be cold and have an aching back, I can just go lay down on the sidewalk for a bit.

We climb mountains out here Rev go to places where you could never get in the summer .Its a rush to see how far into the deep wilderness you can get .And we pack obscene amounts of beer with us

I submit for your consideration the claim that there's no such thing as an obscene amount of beer. Can't have too much of it around. You can drink too much of it, but you can't have too much of it with you. Outside you, as it were...

*warning don't do this kids*
One of the funnest winter activeties me and my friends do is drunken tobogganning. We would also tie sleds to snowmobiles and cruise around a field.

This evening I went sledding with my girl, she is 3, we had a great time.......
It was not quite as instinctual as it was raising my boys 20 yrs ago. I was a kid myself, still fllexible.

Apparently, I have aged considerably, much more than I had realized. Between shoveling and playing in the snow, old man winter just might get the best of me. My back and neck are killing me.
I think I also pulled a bunch of muscles in my stomach but that's from laughing so hard.

That's a different kind of sledding, bhoour. I understand the fun in sliding down hills. What I don't get is the whole ski-doo thing.

Bumps huh? What are you talking about Rev :? The new sleds have huge suspension no bumps just jumps  I like to go up the hill its the coming down with zero brakes and limited steering thats the worst part .I'll bet the last sled you rode was an old John Deere Liquidfire with about 2 inches of suspension travel

[Yeah, and the bumps are even harder on your back and the wind is even colder as a result.]

Small price to pay for one hell of a good time.
