Man charged with sex assault against seven-year-old girl in Saskatoon

SASKATOON -- Police in Saskatchewan have charged a man with sex crimes against a young girl.
Michael John Slough was arrested in the town of Willow Bunch, southwest of Regina.
Officers allege he sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl in Saskatoon between December 2009 and January 2010.
The 43-year-old faces several other charges, including making and possessing child pornography and administering a noxious substance.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit says the girl has been identified and is safe.
Slough is to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Wednesday.
Police say they are trying to identify other potential victims, who appear to be adult women, and more charges are pending.
