Police said Thursday they found a dead newborn boy in a Regina backyard two weeks ago.
The Regina Police Service said they responded to a report about a dead baby the afternoon of Nov. 7, and found "the remains of a deceased male infant, who appeared to be newborn."
They have since identified the baby's mother, but did not say how the child died or whether charges are pending.
In a statement released Tuesday, police said the investigation continues and no further details are being released at the moment.
"Investigators were confident, from the early stages of this case, that there was no risk to public safety as a result of this incident," police said.

7 blocks from me and I'm not surprised. Just disgusted.

Shock all went away after almost driving over a green baby in the middle of the street at 2AM about 8 years ago.

All the "help" in the world won't fix anything in North Central/Washington Park.
