Another chance to be thankful to my step dad Sam who took on a bunch of unruly , broken kids and raised them and loved them as his own. Sam died in 2005. He was born on November 25th. Quite appropriate that he was born on Thanksgiving day. I'm thankful for my best friend Sam.

He sounds like a fine man Ludlow. How many broken kids was that? He sounds like a strong man to me Ludlow.

However real fine strong men are depreciated these days as obsolete bags of cells. They are not needed any more in such great numbers. A couple of dozen of the most servicable specimins will be enough to grow a lasting empire,
