If you think indisputable science is just a bunch of hokum, you could be right at home with members of the Flat Earth Society.
The group of doubters is convinced the whole theory of a spherical Earth is just a conspiracy the rich and powerful have been pushing for hundreds of years to ... well, for some reason.
Among the group's beliefs *is that the Antarctic is actually a giant ice wall that surrounds the edges of the round, flat Earth. And there's no such thing as gravity -- this flat Earth of ours is shooting upwards through space, keeping us all grounded, the group says.
Founder Charles Kenneth Johnson died in 2001, asserting to his last breath that "reasonable, intelligent people have always recognized that the Earth is flat."
But the group kept going, splintering off among those with specific conspiracy theories of who is suppressing the truth of our flat world and why. (The theories range from military dominance to NASA denying a flat Earth to keep its billions in funding).
The flat Earth theory has had a revival on social media recently after rapper B.o.B came out on Twitter as an Earth truther.
He's been exchanging his thoughts on the theory with his 2.3 million followers all week.
"A lot of people are turned off by the phrase 'flat earth' ... but there's no way u can see all the evidence and not know... grow up," one tweet reads.
