Weather officials hit basement after tornado warning
Dramatic rescue as man caught in raging Don current


Wow, hell of a storm last night! Anybody else get hit? I hear there was a tornado in Fergus. The lightening was incredible, flashes every few seconds for almost an hour. Torrential rain like I've never seen. A few times I had to drive through water bumper deep. Awesome!

Anybody else have any stories? Anybody know how much rain came down?

I love a good heavy rain + thunder and lightening, but not when my roof leaks. :x

Wow! Shell has family in Ontario so was glad to hear it wasn't near Thunder Bay.

I love storms ... but not to the tornado degree! One thing we don't get here on the Rock are those amazing electrical storms, although I don't miss them enough to move back to the winter wonderland that comes with!

Yeahh Southern Ontario gets some really kewl electrical storms. I had the best front porch ever for watching them.
