TORONTO - A Toronto woman returned to her east-end home Sunday to find bullet holes in her door and her cat suffering from a mortal wound.
The shooting happened some time between Saturday evening and Sunday morning in the Logan and First Aves. area, Toronto Police say.
“We have a distraught woman. She returned home to find bullet holes in her door and her cat was shot,” Const. David Hopkinson said.
“We don’t know exactly when it happened, but it is a very unfortunate situation. We are more concerned about finding bullets in the door.”
Police tweeted Sunday afternoon that the cat had been taken to an emergency vet. It was later euthanized.
