DRAYTON, Ont. -- A 13-year-old boy has died while playing soccer northwest of Guelph, Ont.
Ontario Provincial Police say they received a call shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday for a teenager in medical distress in Drayton, Ont.
They say people at the soccer field gave the boy CPR until first responders arrived.
The teen was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say they are investigating the death along with help from the coroner.

Sadly this situation happens too frequently, sometimes from congenital heart disease. It would be nice if it would be possible to screen every child for it.
