Cops: Shoplifter used fake pregnancy belly to stash goods

BARRIE, Ont. -- Police are looking for a woman wearing a fake pregnancy belly and her male accomplice after they were spotted ripping off items from an electronics store in Barrie, Ont. on Saturday.
According to local police, the male suspect entered the store around noon and was talking on a cellphone as he looked at items. A short time later, the female suspect, also talking on a phone, entered the store and met up with him.
Police said the male suspect was seen removing items from their packaging, allowing the woman to stuff them into the side of her fake pregnancy belly.
They left the store and drove away in a silver Dodge Caravan before store security could apprehend them.
Police believe they may have identified the suspects, but the investigation was continuing on Saturday evening.
