RAW: Dashcam video of vehicle hitting moose on Hwy. 400

This is a dashcam video from a CityNews viewer who was driving on Highway 400 south of Parry Sound a couple weeks ago when he couldn’t do anything to avoid a moose that had run out onto the highway. Fortunately it looks like the animal wasn’t seriously hurt scampering back up onto its feet after sliding a few metres along the highway. Damage to the vehicle was pegged at more than $3,000.
