Housekeepers have always looked after your summer house. When you decide to retire there year-round, the housekeepers leave.
Not long after they have stopped working for you, a number of people call you about the room rental. You assume that they have dialed the wrong number, but after a dozen or so more calls about the room, you realize that the housekeepers were renting out the place in your absence.
IMO: Take them to court.
