The cyclist a few seconds earlier was lucky too.! how he didnt hit anything is quite astounding they must of been travailing at 50-60 mph ,and must of seen the traffic build up maybe it was to late to stop but all the same foolish to carry on ?

I was waiting in an intersection this morning, and was waiting for an ambulance(with it's lights and siren activated) to go through even though I had the green. The ambulance went through and I still had the green, so I started to go forward. I noticed this stupid lady driving up and she didn't look like she was slowing down. Thankfully I check to make sure it is safe to go through intersections as she would have sideswiped me if I had gone through.
This really pisses me off. Just because an ambulance(or other emergency vehicles, for that matter) can go through red lights(only when it is safe for them to do so) does NOT mean that the average idiot can go through as well. What? Were you entranced by all the lights going off that you weren't paying attention to the stoplight? IDIOT!!!
