Hubby is obviously a full-blown jerk.....all my sympathies lie with her....

And can somebody PLEASE explain to me why her marital kinks discredit her as a judge?????????

Not anyone's business.

I don't think it discredits her but it could affect her ability to be impartial if the complainant ever argued a case before her.

If the complainant ever filed, she could have the case presided over by another judge from the outset or at least recuse herself. Its not like she's the only judge in Manitoba...

Important story, too bad about the peurile comments.

The jidge said to the CBC, "This is a private matter." Huh, being a judge, it is not. If she worked at a private business, no problem. Could be why judges give such short sentences to pedophiles.

She ought to be fired right away. Working porn is not a stepping stone position to being a judge.

Why would she be fired for belonging to a site like that? What someone does away from work, and between consenting adults isn't really anyone's business. There are many people that enjoy swinging, and they are regular people like you or I.

And as far as it being a private matter, why should her job make it anyone else's business? Perhaps there are certain aspects of this particular case that may end up warranting public disclosure, but if there was nothing illegal done, than it really wouldn't be anyone's business except for the people involved.

And the dude sounds like he's got quite a history of suing people, police departments, cities, etc...

That's why I am holding off on the judge's gulit/innocence for now, as there are a lot of facts in this case that come across as hinky to me.

Sounds the the Guy who brought forth the suit, was a client of this Judge's (before she was a judge, & still a lawyer)
Husband (who is also a Lawyer)....who was trying to recuit this guy while was utilizing the Husbands
sevices (as a Lawyer) while going through a divorce. Ethical issues for sure on the Judges Hunbands part. 67 million dollars worth? Yeah, right.....hardly.

He may receive a settlement, but I doubt it will even go over the 1 million mark.
