Re: N.L. sealers having easy time of spring huntApr 21st, 2010
Growing up, I was introduced to a lot of different kinds of food and things to "eat" many things I imagine would gross out the average person.
Heck I even had my very first true "Vegan" meal over the weekend with my mother.... half of it wasn't bad, the other half was kinda putrid..... but I tried it. However I did end up farting up a horrible storm (even by my normal standards) and was on the crapper for a while afterwards.... but I tried it.
Kidneys, hearts, livers from all sorts of animals, chocolate covered crickets, sushi when I was around 12.... just about every moving animal in Canada.... if it was once alive or still is, and it's not known to kill people when you eat it, I'll try eating it.... Seal included.
And afterall, Les from Survivorman ate a seal eyeball and said it was like ice cream and sucked the goop right out of it on camera... so now I gotta give that a go sometime.
If the Scots can convince people to eat haggis or the vegans can convince people to eat tofu anything is possible.
And own a kilt...
