These controlling people are so archaic and hard headed, and very slow to evolve,
and stuck in their unacceptable religious beliefs, and they even blow those out of
proportion to suit themselves.
Everyone should have the freedom to choose their own path in life, and wear what
they want.
It won't change in my lifetime, that's for sure, but hopefully over time, these women will gain some freedom.

Lubna Hussein could receive 40 lashes if found guilty on Tuesday of being indecently dressed - by wearing trousers. - Lubna Hussein: 'I'm not afraid of being flogged. It doesn't hurt. But it is insulting' | World news | The Observer

That is absolutely insane and inane. She's covered from head to foot in opaque clothes, yet she's indecently dressed. Sudanese authorities need their peabrains examined for disorders or something.

I wonder how many lashes she's get for wearing a Wetsuit?

I don't like prudes or fundies, especially when they insist that their warped views must be enforced on the rest of us. What I don't understand is why women keep letting men dictate to them. I know if I told my wife what to do it would not be safe to fall asleep and not protect the family jewels. Which is why I built a double wide doghouse.

Doesn't it have something to do with men of a certain religious bent mainly in NE Africa and parts of the Mideast that have absolutely no control over themselves the moment their pecker twitches?

They have plenty of chicks in horse blankets where I live. If that's what they want to rock on a daily basis, it's not my problem.

Maybe if there weren't so many pussy's around that were too scared to put their women in thier proper place...we wouldn't have half the problems we do have.

It's been less that 100 years that women have had the right to vote in Federal elections. How big was our brain before that? Didn't America have a modest dress code that far back also. Ankles being shown was a rarity. Can women vote in the Sudan?

How is it that you can judge what is right and what is not right in another Country (culture)?

The problem with that little hypothesis is that it's extremely unwise to make the cook angry. It's extremely unwise (if you like sex with something other than your hand) to piss off your bedmate. Ever heard of Lorena Bobbitt?

Because we are talking about human beings, not dogs, cats, or any other pet. I would have thought that was obvious. I object to stuff here, too, so don't worry.

Funny thing about men; if there's something unfair happening to a woman, a few men will actually feel sympathy. Some others take it lightly because it is a woman.
Perhaps the Sudan should be taken over and men's dicks cut off if they are too long. Or just stretched till they are long enough. Then women could say stuff like, "Well, that's what they get for being inadequate".

Might be less than 100 years but - we got over it/past it and we have rights. We can judge because here we have the right to think for ourselves and to speak for ourselves (and to wear as much or as little clothing as we see fit).

I originally hoped you were being facetious, but on thinking over what I know of your attitudes, I'm not very sure you were. Would you care to elucidate what "their women" and "their proper place" mean?

Judging from gerry's marriage, and his wife, I took the statement quite differently than you guys did. But, when gerry's being gerry, I may have taken it wrong too.

My husband has been more than man enough to put me in my proper place, that's for sure. By his side, as his best friend and partner in all decisions. He's man enough for that. Strong enough to not care what some redneck or religious fanatic thinks about that choice.

:roll:Grow up.
Jews don't whack off lengths of penises, they cut foreskin off.

My point was that there seems to be guys around that seem to think women's plights are no big deal.

Karrie, Les puts me in my place sometimes, too. On top. lol
