The Harper government did this because she was from Quebec had it been a soldier from outside of Quebec they would have made the soldiers wait on the tarmac in Trenton.

A Progressive Conservative government would not have done this only a Reform/Alliance/ Conservative party would stoop this low.

That idea was never suggested. Do you think that Trooper Karine Blais would have minded sharing the plane with a hundred or so of her fellow soldiers? I don't think so.
