You know what's more disgusting?
In North America, pets get more nutrients than all of the poor and starving children.
THAT'S SICK, I say.
I know, I know, everyone's "love for pet." But you know what? Its sick and its about time we, developed world, start taking priorities--save our race first then maybe dog...then cat...
If life were as simple as being able to choose to feed the hungry, and having it immediately and easily happen, then there would be no hungry people in the world YoungJoonKim.

Well I guess they are hungry. If one animal is hungry and eats another animal, that is called the circle of life, Non?
South Korea isn't exactly laking in conventional food supplies so being hungry isn't the issue.

Who decides whats "conventional" food supplies?

I eat steak, other people think thats abhorred when other food is available. I also have eaten Bison, Ostrich, Squirrel, Snake...

The fact that you can buy dog in south korea and it's not subject to any safety regulations would make it unconventional and possibly dangerous, Zzarchov.

But if it was subject to safety regulations it would be fine though?

Not my cup of tea, but if it was processed as a "food" I suppose it would be ok. Ship it to the North, seems like they would actually "need" the food.

ppl have their own delicacies. around the u.s. it seems like we only eat the dumb animals, i mean if u run up to a field where there is a cow and a horse, no doubt the horse will run, but the cow wont go anywhere. so which 1 would u go after? the one standing still of course, so we adapted to eating it.
in other countries, ppl think we're werid for eating cows or not eating dogs, or w/e

We eat millions of very intelligent pigs. I have six little pigs right now, they all have separate personalitys and are very friendly, it's thier bad luck that they taste so good.

Got a calf when I turned 10 but at 15 it was more a friend that food, but all good things end and it was butchered for a needy family.
