both pakistan and britain have full rights to confer or denounce honours.. big deal. It is just another straw in the muslims are special.. conrad black gave up his canadian citizenship because canada disallows british honours. That is much more severe than pakistans words.

as if mossad hasn't killed people for expressing their beleifs or possing a risk to the foundations. The guy wrote a dirty book, bringing up his name is like mentioning hitler for said holocaust survivers, or america to castro or something like that.

They they don't like the guy probabbly because of his book satanic verses or something else. He is Indian too which gives pakis (as the name of pakistanis) a reason to be upset. The reaction makes sense it is nothing unexpected. It is like George Bush honouring a gay devil worshipping pedaphile who raped his mother. I don't think the christian right would be too happy. America has it's radicals too, skin heads, kkk, etc.. maybe they arn't as active as they use to be but stuff still happens, hate crimes and whatnot.
