Lord Lawson claims climate change hysteria heralds a 'new age of unreason'
On one hand, we are just starting to appreciate the colossal cost of the measures being taken to meet the European Union's target of a 60 per cent cut in our CO2 emissions in the next four decades, ranging from plans to spend hundreds of billions of pounds on wind turbines to the EU's emissions trading scheme, already costing us billions through our electricity bills. On the other hand, global temperatures, after flattening out, have in recent months shown a sharp fall, wholly unpredicted by those computer models on which the proponents of warming orthodoxy rely. This raises rather large question marks over whether the theory has actually got it right.

OFFICIAL: Global warming mistakes have been made
The IPCC's computer models, used to predict the effects of global warming, it appears, failed to accurately predict the influence that water vapour has on the temperature of the earth. At the global climate change summit in Bali late last year, Dr Roy Spencer presented a paper to the IPCC, saying that rather than CO2 driving the formation of water vapour, which then drives up temperatures as a greenhouse gas, water vapour actually washes excess CO2 out of the atmosphere, dampening and balancing its affect as a greenhouse gas. This discovery was made thanks to weather satellites that showed water vapour forms a lot lower in the atmosphere than was initially suggested. Shock horror, the finely balanced system that is the global ecosystem is able to keep itself in balance... who'd have thought it?!

Filmmakers outsmart dolphin killers: Secret film will expose Japan's brutality
The story of how this film of the barbaric killing and subsequent butchering of dolphins was made -- together with the resulting sale of their meat that massively exceeds Japanese and international limits for mercury content -- is told here, exclusively, for the first time anywhere in print.

Now, I want to start out by saying that I oppose the killing of dolphins, but at the same time why are we not seeing films showing the killing of whales and dolphins by military sonar systems?

Memo Shows Bush Administration Says to Hell With Fourth Amendment Rights
'In the age of the "war on terror," according to the footnote, the Department of Justice "recently concluded that the Fourth Amendment had no application to domestic military operations." The Fourth Amendment, of course, lays out "the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures".'

Bush Administration Memo Says Fourth Amendment Does Not Apply To Military Operations Within U.S.
'A newly disclosed secret memo authored by the Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) in March 2003 that asserts President Bush has unlimited power to order brutal interrogations of detainees also reveals a radical interpretation of the Constitution's Fourth Amendment protection from unreasonable search and seizure.
The memo, declassified yesterday as the result of an American Civil Liberties Union lawsuit, cites a still-secret DOJ memo from 2001 that found that the "Fourth Amendment had no application to domestic military operations".'

Vaccines in Sci-Fi Horror
Imagine an expensive and painful vaccine that...
* "treats" a minor disease that usually goes away without symptoms and is easily avoidable through simple precautions
* claims to prevent cancer - and doesn't
* actually increases risks of medical complications by nearly 50% in untested recipients who may already have this minor disease
And here's the punchline:
Politicians throughout the world would like to legally FORCE this vaccine on young girls against their parent's wishes.
This is not a science fiction nightmare. It's the latest from the medical-military-media industrial complex and your daughters are the guinea pigs.

The Martial Law Act of 2006
The new law vastly increases the danger from the actions of government provocateurs. If there is an incident now like the first bombing of the World Trade Center in February 1993, it would be far easier for the president to declare martial law -- even if, as then, it was an FBI informant who taught the culprits how to make the bomb. Even if the FBI masterminds a protest that turns violent, the president could invoke the "incident" to suspend the Constitution.

As I have been saying for months ... what is happening with the kangaroo-court 'Human Rights' system in Canada is designed to be a blueprint for all - that's why it is so important to constantly highlight its abuses ... and now comes this:

Vote on freedom of expression marks the end of Universal Human Rights

'For the past eleven years the organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), representing the 57 Islamic States, has been tightening its grip on the throat of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Yesterday, they finally killed it.With the support of their allies including China, Russia and Cuba (none well-known for their defence of human rights) the Islamic States succeeded in forcing through an amendment to a resolution on Freedom of Expression that has turned the entire concept on its head.

The UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression will now be required to report on the “abuse” of this most cherished freedom by anyone who, for example, dares speak out against Sharia laws that require women to be stoned to death for adultery or young men to be hanged for being gay, or against the marriage of girls as young as nine, as in Iran.'

How ironic that Canada of all countries says it was opposed to the change (but then didn't vote against it).

The World According to Monsanto

'A new documentary was aired on French television by French journalist and film maker Marie-Monique Robin, The World According to Monsanto - A documentary that Americans won't ever see. The gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.'
FOLKS, I KNOW THIS IS A VERY LONG VIDEO, AN HOUR AND FORTY NINE MINUTES, BUT TRUST ME, YOU HAVE TO MAKE TIME TO WATCH THIS ONE. THEN REMEMBER, THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE INSISTING THAT THEIR GMO PRODUCTS HAVE NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH THE HONEYBEE DIE-OFF.

The Oklahoma City Bombing - What was the Army doing with a Ryder Truck just before the Murrah blast?
The pilot who took the photos wishes (for the obvious reasons) to remain anonymous, but these photos are purported to be of an area near Camp Gruber-Braggs, Oklahoma in early April of 1995. Needless to say, just days after this photo was taken, the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City was destroyed (along with internal cutter charges) by a Ryder truck full of explosives.

Maybe I should start a thread called "those wankers"........

Police charged Down's syndrome boy with mental age of five for 'racism'

Scottish police at the cutting edge of crime: 'He asked for black coffee?? You mean he didn't say "coffee without milk"?

'Hoskins, call firearms ...'

'When two police officers came to interview Jamie Bauld, a polite, friendly Down’s syndrome boy with a mental age of about 5, he welcomed them with a big smile and a handshake. As the officers read him his rights and charged him with assault and racial abuse, he agreed with everything they said, then thanked them for coming to see him.

Yesterday Jamie’s parents told The Times that they had been through a seven-month ordeal with the Scottish legal system over what they described as a minor fracas between two youngsters with learning difficulties.'

For anyone who thinks this website gives too much attention to Thought Police operations like the Canadian 'Human Rights' Commissions this is a must-read. This is the world that we are fast heading into while people ignore the Political Correctness dictatorship predicted so accurately by George Orwell.

Student gets criminal record for the sake of 90p

'A student told today how she gained a criminal record because she did not have 90p on her Oyster card. Ashley Williams boarded a bendy bus without realising her pre-pay card did not have enough money on it for the fare. But before she could get off to buy a ticket, the doors shut and she was carried to the next stop where inspectors boarded. Despite the bus driver appealing on her behalf, the inspectors refused to believe her explanation.'

Schoolboy's asteroid-strike sums are wrong
Widespread media reports claim that a German schoolboy has recalculated the likelihood of a deadly planet-smasher asteroid hitting the Earth, and found the catastrophe is enormously more likely than NASA thought. The boy's sums were said to have been checked by both NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), and found to be correct. There's only one problem with the story: the kid's sums are in fact wrong, NASA's are right, and the ESA swear blind they never said any different. An ESA spokesman in Germany told the Reg this morning: "A small boy did do these calculations, but he made a mistake... NASA's figures are correct."

Okay, give us the raw data and let us do the calculations for ourselves. Absent that, I can think of a large number of reasons why governments would NOT inform the public of an impending asteroid strike twenty years into the future, mostly relating to keeping the sheeple happily working and paying taxes.

Merck Wrote Drug Studies For Doctors
The drug maker Merck drafted dozens of research studies for a best-selling drug, then lined up prestigious doctors to put their names on the reports before publication, according to an article to be published Wednesday in a leading medical journal. The article, based on documents unearthed in lawsuits over the pain drug Vioxx, provides a rare, detailed look in the industry practice of ghostwriting medical research studies that are then published in academic journals.
