follow up to above story re wal mart.........

We have the power - if only we would use it ...

Wal-Mart Drops Claim Against Shank Family

'Jim Shank of Jackson received word from Wal-Mart that the company intends to drop its $470,000 reimbursement claim against the Shank family. He says he's pleased and relieved Wal-Mart decided to drop the claim. Shank credits the pressure of public outcry from bad publicity as the turning point to Wal-Mart dropping the claim. Shank had recently appeared on several national television shows talking about the case.'

Conman to recruit 10 million-strong 'green army'

If ever a picture captured a personality ... the eyes have it ...

'Al Gore yesterday launched a drive to mobilise 10 million volunteers to force politicians to act on climate change - twice as many as the number who marched against the Vietnam war or in support of civil rights during the heyday of US activism in the 1960s. During the next three years, his Alliance for Climate Protection plans to spend $300m (about £150m) on television advertising and online organising to make global warming among the most urgent issues for elected American leaders.'

Rapists in the ranks - the horrors experienced by women soldiers from their 'colleagues'

... 41% of female veterans seen at the clinic say they were victims of sexual assault while in the military, and 29% report being raped during their military service.

'The stories are shocking in their simplicity and brutality: A female military recruit is pinned down at knifepoint and raped repeatedly in her own barracks. Her attackers hid their faces but she identified them by their uniforms; they were her fellow soldiers. During a routine gynecological exam, a female soldier is attacked and raped by her military physician.

Yet another young soldier, still adapting to life in a war zone, is raped by her commanding officer. Afraid for her standing in her unit, she feels she has nowhere to turn. These are true stories, and, sadly, not isolated incidents. Women serving in the U.S. military are more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire in Iraq.'

I can't remember, 157 times

'Mr. Warman, can you confirm your name ?
'Er, er, um, er ...'
'In his case against Marc Lemire, Richard Warman was cross-examined on his testimony for three and a half days. He answered "I don't remember" 157 times. You can read through those three and a half days' worth of transcripts, or see a handy compilation here. One might ask why the Tribunal put up with such obvious stonewalling -- but then, the Tribunal excuses almost any conduct from the Canadian Human Rights Commission
and its friends.'
http://ezralevant.com/2008/04/i-cant...157-times.html

There are grievances, and then there are special grievances
'I've received some interesting feedback on my last blog entry, describing Richard Warman's new job as a "Director of Special Grievances -- Enquiries and Investigations" at the Department of National Defence. Some feedback was posted directly to my comments section, and some has come to my e-mail. I expect a more, now that CF chat sites like Army.ca have taken note.'

Kissinger's 1974 Plan for Food Control Genocide
'On Dec. 10, 1974, the U.S. National Security Council under Henry Kissinger completed a classified 200-page study, "National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests." The study falsely claimed that population growth in the so-called Lesser Developed Countries (LDCs) was a grave threat to U.S. national security. Adopted as official policy in November 1975 by President Gerald Ford, NSSM 200 outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in those countries through birth control, and also, implicitly, war and famine.'

Food crisis being felt around world

'Sharply rising prices have triggered food riots in recent weeks in Mexico, Morocco, Senegal, Uzbekistan, Guinea, Mauritania and Yemen, and aid agencies around the world worry they may be unable to feed the poorest of the poor.

In the Philippines, officials are raiding warehouses in Manila looking for unscrupulous traders hoarding rice, while in South Korea, panicked housewives recently stripped grocery-store shelves of food when the cost of ramen, an instant noodle made from wheat, suddenly rose.'

April 2008 – THE SECRET LIFE OF BARACK OBAMA
In a few short months, the young and relatively unknown politician Barack Hussein Obama may very well be elevated to the presidency of the United States and command the mightiest military in world history.
Would the eloquent and charismatic Obama unite, inspire and renew a troubled nation, as tens of millions of voters passionately believe? Or is it possible he's a Manchurian candidate – harboring an ominous secret agenda few understand, a man destined to wreak havoc on America should he become president?
That's the question that is explored definitively in the April issue of WND's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine, titled "THE SECRET LIFE OF BARACK OBAMA."
Many consider him nothing less than a savior. They're entranced by Obama and his messianic campaign, which regularly has seen swooning women fainting in his presence. But in addition to the public, the cultural elite and even much of the news media have been likewise captivated. New Age luminary and mega-bestselling author Deepak Chopra says Obama's presidency would "represent a quantum leap in American consciousness," superstar Oprah Winfrey says Obama's "tongue [is] dipped in the unvarnished truth," and MSNBC's "Hardball" anchor Chris Matthews recently gushed, "He [Obama] seems to have the answers. This is the New Testament."
But then, somewhat diminishing the radiant glow of the Obama campaign have been wave after wave of ominous revelations about the young senator from Illinois:
Examination of his U.S. Senate voting record reveals him to be a hard leftist. A little-reported letter from the candidate to the "LGBT community" declares Obama's enthusiastic solidarity with the radical homosexual-rights agenda. His long-time spiritual mentor and pastor turns out to be a rabid, racist, America-hater who claims the U.S. invented AIDS to wipe out black people. Bloggers are even piecing together an intriguing case that Obama, a Muslim in his youth, may still be a closet Muslim. But there's more – much more.

An Insider Front-Man Speaks: Obama Feigns Ignorance of Council on Foreign Relations and North American Union

A must-read for his ludicrous comments on the North American Union alone.

'Is it possible Barack and Michelle are like ships passing in the night? Is it possible Michelle does not talk to her husband about the Council on Foreign Relations? Michelle Obama is on the board of directors of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, founded in 1922 as the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. And yet here is Obama in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, telling people he is clueless about the elite organization.'

Libel chill as a tool of 'human rights' commissions

'Over the past few months, I've pointed to human rights commission cases that make it to the Tribunal stage (in Alberta, the "police", "prosecutors" and "judges" are all called the "commission") as examples of the absurd and illiberal nature of these commissions. But the vast majority of their nefarious work is done without any public record, let alone a hearing in a kangaroo court. Reading the annual reports of various HRCs, it seems like twenty cases are settled for every one that goes to a hearing. So for every Western Standard or Maclean's fight, there are a dozen or two Red Deer Advocate surrenders.
It's not libel chill -- because libel chill is fear of defamation suits, and defamation suits are only to be feared by newspapers that get their facts wrong. True facts are no defence to human rights complaints. And a dismissed defamation suit comes with legal costs payable to the roughed-up defendant -- not so for "victorious" human rights respondents (of which there haven't yet been any, under the federal CHRC).'

'Human Rights' Commissions in the news again
'What are the grave human rights issues that Boullard is dispatched to heal? Has someone been kicked out of their home into the icy winter, because they were Aboriginal -- or because they weren't? Has someone been denied a job with the federal government because they spoke an Aboriginal language and English, but not French? Uh, no. Boullard's team of bureaucrats is focused like a laser on the case of a pizza delivery girl who was offended by some pop songs that were playing in the kitchen of Boston Pizza when she popped by to pick up her pies for delivery.'

Jesse Ventura Warns Of Obama Assassination Attempt
Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura caused shockwaves during a national radio interview today when he warned Barack Obama to be wary of a potential assassination attempt, saying that the government would target any independent politician who got close to the White House. The context of Ventura's warning was a discussion about new evidence concerning the assassination of Robert Kennedy, after it emerged that there were additional shooters to accused assassin Sirhan Sirhan.

Criminal complaint filed against Canadian "Human Rights" Commission for theft of WiFi signals in order to spy on Canadians and post racist messages on websites
Over the past few weeks it has been revealed that employees of the Canadian Human Rights Commission have been using fake pseudonyms to sign up accounts on website they have targeted as "hate" sites. In explosive allegations filed by Marc Lemire with the Ottawa Police Service and the RCMP, not only were the CHRC spying and posting misinformation on targeted websites - but they connected to the unsecured wireless access point of an unsuspecting neighbor and impersonated her internet connection to do it!

HIV-AIDS was created with the use of Gay men as targets for Eugenic experiments suggests U.S. doctor
'There is no doubt that AIDS erupted in the U.S. shortly after government-sponsored hepatitis B vaccine experiments (1978-1981) using gay men as guinea pigs. The epidemic was caused by the “introduction” of a new retrovirus (the human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV for short); and the introduction of a new herpes-8 virus, the virus that causes Kaposi’s sarcoma, widely known as the “gay cancer” of AIDS.
The taboo theory that AIDS is a man-made disease is largely based on research showing an intimate connection between government vaccine experiments and the outbreak of “the gay plague”.'

Global temperatures 'to decrease'
Global temperatures this year will be lower than in 2007 due to the cooling effect of the La Nina current in the Pacific, UN meteorologists have said.
The World Meteorological Organisation's secretary-general, Michel Jarraud, told the BBC it was likely that La Nina would continue into the summer. This would mean global temperatures have not risen since 1998, prompting some to question climate change theory.

The Columbine Massacre Unravels
Columbine has never made any sense. On a close examination of eyewitnesses, and events, one can easily see that there were at least seven people involved, and maybe a third shooter.
Basically, there were 100 bombs found that day, and Klebold and Harris didnt' bring them in alone. And the fact that an eyewitness said he saw two cars, with seven kids, at the school early that morning confirms there were accessories to the massacre. John Stone, the Sheriff of Jefferson county at the time, believed there were others involved, but he was constantly blocked by an FBI agent named Dwayne Fuselier. To make matters worse, Fuselier had two sons in the Trench Coat Mafia, and the FBI saw no conflict of interest.

Columbine's Third Shooter
What is never discussed is the amount of explosives, 95 bombs, that were placed around the school, and who did it. The other buried item is the 52 witnesses that saw a third shooter.

AMERICA "DESERVES" TO "KNOW" THE "TRUTH" ABOUT THE "COLUMBINE" "MASSACRE!!!"
One of the FBI's "DIRTIEST SECRETS" is that Dwayne Fuselier the FBI agent in charge of the Columbine investigation, had AT LEAST "ONE SON" in the "TRENCH COAT MAFAIA." When a Denver news reporter questioned him, he refused to even discuss it.

BBC Caught Editing Story To Appease Global Warming Lobbyist

'The BBC has sensationally been caught red-handed editing a news story about global warming in order to appease a rhetorical e mail sent by an environmental activist, while it has also emerged that BBC writers are aware of the growing suspicions about apparent attempts to censor skeptics of man-made global warming.

A report concerning the fact that global warming stopped in 1998 by the BBC's environment analyst Roger Harrabin was altered to omit the fact that such evidence is cited by skeptics as a reason to doubt the link between Co2 emissions and temperature increase, and the headline was also

'Monsanto already dominates America’s food chain with its genetically modified seeds. Now it has targeted milk production. Just as frightening as the corporation’s tactics – ruthless legal battles against small farmers – is its decades-long history of toxic contamination.'

Climate change confirmed but global warming is cancelled
In December last year, at the UN conference in Bali, I heard Viscount Monckton present a paper prepared by himself, the Australian Dr David Evans and our own Dr Vincent Gray (who were at Bali, too) that showed while the IPCC models predict that greenhouse gases would produce an extensive "hot spot" in the upper troposphere over the tropics, the satellite measurements show no such hotspots have appeared. Monckton and Evans found a large part of this discrepancy is the result of some basic errors in the IPCC's assessment of the Stefan-Boltzmann equation. When they applied their revised factor to the effect of greenhouse gases, the temperature rise was about a third of that predicted by the IPCC.
