By spreading conspiracies like this you are only empowering the terrorists.

tis just a conspiracy till it becomes a fact mate,

cospiracy theory.... the first words in the "official/conformist" arguement
the earth orbiting the sun, conspiracy theory, cost a few lives eh?

the earth being round, rather than flat cost some too...

911 being a "terrorist" attack on the good ol us of g by outsiders cost a few more...........
the end justifies the means.

If you're inside the box you should be thinking about getting out.
Sorry, can't be done. Don't you know the Illuminati built the box centuries ago? They did it so thoroughly and securely that even when you think you're out, you're still in. Every paranoid conspiracy and supposedly BS theory you've ever heard is true: the Illuminati, the Masons, the Elders of Zion, the Bilderberg Group, the DaVinci Code, the Roswell Incident, the Philadelphia Experiment, Area 51, faked moon landings, dinosauroid aliens controlling the world, 9/11, Satanic bar codes, KFC makes black men impotent, the murder of Princess Diana, von Daniken's Chariots of the Gods, Velikovsky's Worlds in Collision and Ages in Chaos, the earth is hollow and we're living on the inside of it, there's a secret UFO base in the Antarctic, Atlantis was real, Lemuria was real, there'll be a pole shift any minute now that'll reveal the remains of a very hi-tech civilization from 25,000 years ago under the ice caps...

And how do I know this? Because I'm the Grand Master who orchestrates it all, and I know I can safely say so because my minions have done such a thorough and excellent job that I know nobody will believe me except a few supposed crackpots nobody else will take seriously. Read the supermarket tabloids like National Enquirer, that's where the truth is. Haven't you seen the Men in Black movies?

Thinking inside the box... Isn't that what happens at that juncture in childhood when we move from the boundless limits of imagination to the relatively rigid construct of forms/patterns imposed [by experience] on adult perception? Though, this remark reminds me of the first comments I ever heard uttered by a dear old friend, a man of few, but always meaningful, intelligent, and thought-provoking words, who replied to the age-old adage, "You can't judge a book by its cover" by saying, after an entire evening of being seated at the bar [I was tending at the time] and not saying a word, "Yeah, but you have to read the book before you can judge it at all." Bruce, wherever you are, I love you my brother. Fair well.

I don't know if I agree with that or not. I'd like to, but I don't think I'm sure what you mean. The 'boundless limits of imagination' are indeed wonderful and entertaining and they've given us some of our greatest literature (I've been re-reading Poul Andersen lately; there's a guy who was brilliant at thinking outside the box) but there's also such a thing as an objective reality which exists regardless of our perceptions of it, and constrains the possible.

"Yeah, but you have to read the book before you can judge it at all."
A wise man. But first you have to learn how to read and how to think clearly. Then you can make an informed judgement. Opinions are not all of equal value. I think you have a lot more to say about this, and I think I'd like to see it.

At the very end of this video are the reports by survivors of the WTC of heavy work taking place on supposedly empty floors in the weeks before 9-11; floors the elevators would not stop on without a special access key.

Notice how it didn't take very long for the bogeyman of "conspiracy theorists" to be leveled against your contribution Stretch?

When we talk about conspiracy theories it often takes an event like the magic bullet in the Kennedy assassination or the invisible pile of WMDs in Iraq to get the closed minded and the ignorant to even examine what has been held as "truth" for decades. It's far easier to dismiss alternate opinions on the basis of published "facts" even when you have the President of the United States making claims about something in the absence of fact. And yet claims that result in invasion and billions of dollars spent and kids killed and maimed...are seldom called conspiracy....

I'm used to it mate. Back in the old msnchatroom days I had my life threatened because I had the audacity to call gwb shrub and to say that the wmd dont exist and will never be found.... time and time again I am proven right..."such is life" as a famous Aussie once said, just b4 they hung him

Call me crazy, but I know I've seen this thread before. The exact same title and everything. Unless it's really a conspiracy against me.
