He didn't know the mic he was wearing was still on. Some interesting things are said. Go and watch it for yourself.

I heard and watched it & found myself liking Bush as a human being, and not the monster portrayed by so many people.

You know what I don't get about all this? Everyone is making a big deal over Bush swearing. I turned on CTV News Net this morning before work and what do I see:

Bush uses expletive while discussing Middle East with Blair

So what?

Yea, it just goes to show that he knows whats up on the world stage and we dont, Just like all other world leaders, he said blatently to Blair that Syria needs to end this **** by tell ing hezbohlah to stand down. Its obviousy that is what needs to be done and he knows it.

He's made great progess doing it while breathing, you'd think he could keep his mouth closed when he chews.

I know. I was more offended by his talking while he's eating especially w/the British PM. Something a/b that just made me cringe at the imagery.

I'm really quite surprised that no one has yet suggested that this "mic on" incident was staged. I mean, it would be a clever way to get your message out without having to make a formal statement.

It looks unrehearsed... Sounds genuine... Makes it look like no one is pulling any strings... there's no hidden agenda... and it makes the politicos look "tuned in" when they're probably totally out of their element.

LOL

yeah. actually his remark was nothing (although I'm not so sure Syria has that sort of control over Hezbollah anyways - its not like they're a sole source).

he may as well have been eating beans, as in "Blazing Saddles".

at least he looked sober.

Bush is an idiot. He has been caught several times shooting his mouth off when he thought the mike was off when it wasn't. He is too stupid to learn his leason.

his "leason"?
Someone else wasn't listening in class!

I'm no George Bush fan, but this remark is right on the money, including the expletive. As for it being staged, he's nowhere near capable of acting that well.

I didn't have a real big problem with what he had to say. But I thought it was very interesting to watch. =-D
