Sex with a human partner is very much about pleasuring her as well as yourself...........her pleasure pleases you, which inspires more effort to please her....and round and round. Doesn't work with a robot.
Not all men are as considerate, trust me.

The robot thing is icky though.

We can all make jokes,

about it, but this is just sick. Building a machine to masterbate with is seriously bent.
Right on Juan. I could understand if you had no hands, but normally..........

You know...wow. I, personally, don't think a machine could ever substitute the female form. Masturbation is NOT sex, and therefore you cannot substitute some wonder-wacker for a female. Just like my hand doesn't feel quite the same as digging a hole to china in a girl. What about taste? Smell? Every person has their own unique smell, not to mention taste. During sex, nothing beats being surrounded by a girls smell and tasting her when you kiss her. Will this wonder-bot mimic that? Unlikely. Oh well, i'm sure this'll please SOME people, but not this hombre.

Darn Mogz, I was going to buy my other half one for his Birthday but after reading what you wrote, the lads so sensitive-sniff-sniff, I think I'll get him a New Driver.

Well, here's my two pennies worth ... imagine the ease ... up the morning, hop in the orgasmatron, into the shower, off to work .... I think there'd be a whole lot less road rage, a whole lot less cranky people in the morning and a whole lot healthier society.

I think it's a good thing. *shrug* What about couples who have mis-matched libidos? Single folks? Lazy folks? Anything that puts a smile on a person's face gets my vote.

I think I'll skip the orgasmotron, and head for the real-life equivalent thanks, It does a better job.

Somehow I kinda doubt it ... you know how people are, always pushing the rules. Next thing you know you'd have a 6" vibrator propped on the seat wearing a Barbie wig.

Na ... just keep it behind closed doors is my suggestion!

Ya, it was in "Sleeper", Cortezzz ... mentioned in the article, actually, but I remember thinking it was a pretty nifty idea way back when I saw the movie at the drive inn.

Hey ... sex is like chocolate ... less is not more ... I may prefer good Belgian chocolate, but it didn't stop me from eating all the cheap chocolate easter bunnies around here! All those futuristic ideas are just broadening an already wide horizon.

oops--
caught me me reading only half the article before posting

i think pixar special effects division is going to market the
orgasmatron-gazebo
it should be a big hit at those summer barbecues

another idea would be some kind of electronic attachment on cell phones or laptops
you could incorporate it as a part of a forum message for example.

you could also have an international holiday dedicated to all these precious moments that have helped made the human race the most biologically successfull one on
the planet----integrated in some electronic fashion

chocolate comes up a lot in these type of discussions
i prefer ice cream
chocolate is way too hot
