The company TAG, which sells cologne for men has an ad running. In it two women are wrestling. It's the ad where the woman jumps out of the ring to the man wearing the cologne. When one woman flips the other in the ring, and is rolling on the mat, her nipple is showing for a split second. You can see it best on slo-mo.

Yep, it is okay to show on TV someone being shot, or their throat being cut, but a nipple, that's obscene.

This is on cable not network TV so there is more leeway here, but it feels like TAG tried to sneak this by and do some subliminal advertising. The Discovery Channel shows a lot more flesh on the weekend.

You can see a nipple? Big deal! Come to Britain, buy The Sun newspaper, turn to page 3, and every day on that page there is a big photo of a beautiful woman with her breasts out, showing nipples. It's only nipples. I can never understand why Americans and Canadians see nipples as private parts, like a penis or a vagina. In Britain, nipples aren't counted as private parts, and we don't have to censor them.

It's like saying "I saw a TV show the other day, and I saw a man's ear!"

Watching the Soprano's or Nip/Tuck on CTV an over the air broadcast network (like abc,nbc,cbs in america)shows hell of a lot more than just a nipple.(Hell city TV basically shows soft porn Friday nights) You don't have people whining over it. The crtc said they only had 3 complaints over Janet Jacksons nipple compared to 1000's in America.
