FEMA has backed down and decided to allow folks to carry their guns within the temporary housing parks that were built following Hurricane Katrina. FEMA lawyers decided not to risk any lawsuits from folks who were violated of their Second Amendment rights of the US constitution.
Good call by the FEMA...finally. Folks have a right to protect themselves from the criminal gangs, rapists and other degenerates of society that prey upon the innocent within these shelters.
Under federal policy, residents can possess and/or store their guns within the housing shelters.
