Suspect Arrested After He Attempted To Grab A 14 Year Old Tulsa Girl

Tulsa Police say Enrique Gravioto was arrested for making a lewd proposal to a minor. Police say he offered a 14-year-old girl a ride Wednesday as she was walking home from a library at 26th and Garnett.

When she refused, he got out, so she called 911 on her cell phone. He knocked it out of her hands, grabbed her and pulled her to him. She managed to keep dialing 911 and gave authorities a description of the suspect and his truck.

Officers spotted him a short time later and arrested him.

Tulsa Police say this vehicle description does not fit the guy who tried to kidnap a teenage girl a couple of days ago.

Hey Nascar. I agree

Don't you think that these sick people are becoming more common because of all the nasty things they are exposed to? Violent video games, porno, etc?

Yep. Society is taking a turn for the worst. Where in blue blazes do these creeps come from?

What amazes me is this scumbag did this in broad daylight. That's what's scary. If this individual is not smart enough to realize that what he was doing is unacceptable and in broad daylight as well, God only knows what the consequences would have been had the girl not dialed 911 on her cell phone.

wow Vanni Fucci you are soo cool...... great contribution to the thread.

Yea i think this dirtbag should be in jail. But I think in the early 90's there seemed to be more of these kind of sickos around and society seemed to be on the brink of insanity. I believe murder rates were skyroketing and more rapes and assault were recorded..... i believe. I could be wrong

Had your brother-in-law been living down south here and had he observed these individuals break into his truck, he would have been justified in firing a gun at these creeps (chances are if they are willing to take the risk of getting caught by the owner, they are most probably armed).

In these parts, you can use whatever force necessary to defend yourself or personal property.

yea I think that would be a major deterrent for these punks.......although i would probably fire up the air to scare them off.

Well I grew up in Ohio and the gun laws were very loose there. You could jsut go to to the store and buy anything. Here in Alberta it is stricter but not too bad. I mean I still own handguns but its harder to get them. Like you can't carry them around even if concealed and I have a permit.

Alberta is not as bad as some other Canadaian province and even some states. I believe DC and New York are way more strict.

You even live in Alberta? Let alone Canada? All provinces have the same regs, Karra. Firearms are controlled and regulated by the feds not provinces.

Not sure about other states, but here in Oklahoma I can freely carry my handgun provided that it is visible (ie holstered). No license is required and surely no registration. I can walk into a fast food restaurant and have lunch on my way to the shooting gallery with my holstered gun no problem. However, if I want to conceal my handgun in public, I would need to sign up for a concealed weapons class to obtain a special permit.

uhhha we have the national gun registry, whats you point? I don't know about everywhere but here in Alberta its has been made a point that the province will not go looking for unregistered guns. It even challenged the government on the issue. I believe Quebec was a province that went after the owners......but i could be wrong.

Hey nascar in oklahoma what do you need to purchase, just a state ID?

Yep. A driver's license will do fine. Here in Oklahoma there is also no waiting period. An instant FBI background check is conducted at the time of purchase.

Was Victoria, now Ottawa
In Ottawa a teenager was killed and her bodey found. If the guy who did it is a re-offender who is to blame? You could say the hospital who let him out is to blame, but if they are under-funded then the government is to blame. But if people dont want to pay taxes then our population is to blame.
You need taxes to keep these scumbags off the streets.

first things first...... we need to get rid of the gun registry as it is not working. Our homicide rate is going up. In 2003 I believe we had 550 homicides and in 2004 we had 622. And all indications seem to point to the homicide number rising....... Toronto had more gun murders by July 2005 than they had all year in 2004. Same here in Calgary and Edmonton is on a record pace. Last year Edmonton tied their record at 29 I believe and this year we are close to that number and its only september. Saskatoon is on record pace as well....... I don't have all the facts tho but im curious to see the homicide number for 2005.

.... i think we should scrap the gun registry and transfer the funds to more policing and other ideas would be welcome. I still can't believe the Liberals would have a gun registy.....geez what a joke.

I sure as hell am glad that my taxes dollars are not being used on this useless registry. 2 billion dollars down the tubes. How does it make you folks in Canada feel? Not your cup of tea is it?

Imagine how many more police officers could have been hired with that money.

My truck Rev is a Diesel, and as such it is more fuel efficient than gasoline vehicles. So I am doing my part to save gas. Let me guess, you drive a gasoline vehicle, right? tsk tsk ... too bad.

RE: Let us Hope This Scum

Your truck is Ford, Nascar Nero. That's enough to bring your mental stability into question right there.

It's a one ton if I remember correctly. You did say F-350, didn't you? Now why do you need a one ton truck? Are you a farmer? Are you a contractor? You've never said, but you certainly seem to want to give the impression that you have a high-paying white collar job.
