The fact is the bible has been changed over the years. Like why was reincarnation taken out? Was it a swipe at the largest "religions" Hindu and buddists? 66% of population believe in re incarnation.
If people had a mental illness or diferent they were branded as evil or possesed by demons, The catholic church was particularily bad for that and thats why the British Parliement sided (by 1 vote) with the reining monarch to form the Church of England.
Whenever science disproves something religion changes. To me religion is a fairy tale. We are brainwashed into believing in Heaven, hell, God etc from the moment we come out of the womb. If you put all newborns on a deserted island and told them they go see Santa Claus when they die, and since they have no acess to the rest of the world they will believe it.
Yes I am an athiest. I just do not believe in Religion or God. But if people need faith or want to worship God its not my business and I could care less if anyone does. We are a free country and have freedom of religion and we do not discrimminate aginst people practicing religion. Yet most churches discriminate against people who do not follow their doctrine.
Doesn't judging others suppose to be left up to "God" and not religious people? You religious people theoritically should go to hell when you die as only your "God" can judge yet religious groups routinly judge and discriminate and have no understanding of people who are diferent than them. And does not that violate your "Gods" law?
