I get your point.
While Trudeau obsesses on useless social issues like gender equality and feminism, he ignores the growing gap between the wealthy and the poor, the CEOs and the working class.
How could a 'Little Lord Fauntleroy' like Trudeau know beans about money or the struggle of the working class to keep a decent standard of living? When did he ever have a worry about paying bills or putting a roof over his family's head?
Born into privilege he hasn't a clue about finances. And he obviously doesn't care for those he considers 'beneath his station' anyway. Hell, we're just an annoyance to people like him, to be silenced and ignored while we pay our taxes. And pay. And pay. And pay some more.

I believe there are rich people who do care about the country and its citizens. Although they are few and far between and are too busy living productive lives to enter the dirty game of politics. Those few are the ones who run small businesses, give their employees jobs with a decent wage and benefits and are satisfied when they and everyone who works for them make a profit They are also the ones the politicians destroy with their overbearing and ridiculous over taxing and regulations.

First of all I agree CEO"S are out of line in terms of social order in the
income scale. So how did we get here and what do we do?
First it started with paying athletes way more than common sense would
allow. on top of that we allowed them to make even more selling their name
on cornflakes boxes running shoes and cars. Then politicians wanted more,
company leaders CEO"S wanted more and the cycle continued.

Ask yourself, How does the cycle perpetuate itself? Administrators keep
referring to how much the guy up the ladder makes and they want the same
knowing full well someone up the chain will get a raise. From there its said
if you want good people you have to pay more. Insane rationalization is
condoned for example A hockey player or CEO gets more because they make
the right decision from 30 to 60 percent of the time. In that case a surgeon or an
airline pilot should be the highest paid they have to be right 100% of the time.

If we are to curb it we have to use our pocketbook don't buy the endorsed product
and for once pay attention to the shares you hold in company stock and proxy those
votes to those who will vote for restraint at the next annual meeting of the company
You don't have to win the vote you have to first send the message you are not happy.

We tried wage and price controls back in the seventies didn't work why? Because
wage and price controls mean nothing unless you equate it to a profit margin control
that would bring problems of its own. The one thing that has to change is the minds
of the citizens of this country to determine what is acceptable'
But hell we're Canadian and for a few more years we'll suffer in silence until some
major event forces change

It wouldn't be hard for Trudeau to fix it if he wanted to! Leave their salary alone and increase the tax on it. $1 million annually should be setting off all kinds of bells and whistles.

Trudeau is a drifter. He has no vision, little character. People like this are run by polls, petty ideologies, power brokers... like those of Canada's pathetic, gutless, greed besotted Business Establishment.

So, all you right wingers want the government to control CEO salaries, or to increase taxes?

That's an interesting turn of events!

That said, I agree that Trudeau seems to be useless. He's improving, though: he's getting more useless every month.

Not as useless as the twit he replaced so it is a move in the right direction. By the time the next election comes around he will be a seasoned player. By his 5th term we will be called Tredeaueville

Trudeau has one of the most useless skills I can think of that he inherited from his Old man- the ability to mesmerize one demographic to vote for him. There should be a third criteria in place to quality a citizen to be able to vote.........................Pass an I.Q. test!

Harper could run rings around Trudeau in any category you choose! :)

How many Government employees and politicians are there across Canada? A million? Whatever the figure shouldn't they be controlling something constructive?

Isn't it usually the guy that complains about the "damn queers" loudest and longest that secretly fantasizes about playing the skin flute. I'm beginning to think that this is the same type of thing

Trudeau simply took Harpers' exiting policies, and made them his own. They both supported selling our strategic energy resources to the Chinese, they were both okay in loosing our sovereighty through the Canada-China Trade deal, etc.. Trudeau just looks better doing it, seems like he's ping ponging on agreements as long as it's the way to get re-elected. JT's well intention blank gaze is getting us in trouble. He can be pro 'just about anything'. His willingness to abase his own nationalistic values for others is sad in it's cluelessness. Whenever I see him visiting mosques wearing the outfits of other countries (while women are sent upstairs because they are not worthy of being downstairs with the men!!), whenever I hear Islamic states praising him, I know that we will need a strong Leader to get us out of this mess.

Right on Remington- it's what happens when you send a boy on a man's job!

Just waiting with anticipation when he legalizes street/recreational drugs - Just hope no one I know dies on account of it.
