Nice to know that all terrorism will stop when Trump is inaugurated.

Sick in every aspect. Using a peaceful western symbol was ironic. They're a bunch of sick bast#@ds.

You would think a Santa would be frisked at least once in a Muslim area where things have gone boom just recently.

Milton woman killed in Turkish terror attack: Reports

Global Affairs Canada has identified a Milton, Ont., woman as one of the victims of the New Year’s Day terrorist attack on a nightclub in Istanbul.
Alaa Al-Muhandis, 29, was one of the 39 people killed in the Reina nightclub attack in Turkey’s most populous city.
Milton Conservative MP Lisa Raitt tweeted Monday that she was “sickened” by the attack.
“This barbarity in Istanbul killed 39 innocent people,” Raitt wrote.
“My sincere condolences to Alaa Al-Muhandis’s family and neighbours. We never think that something like this can happen to us in Milton.”
She is a married mother of two who had been in Jordan visiting a sick friend, say reports.
Ghada Saad, a friend of Al-Muhandis, told The Canadian Press she met her two years ago when Al-Muhandis hired her to help with a baby shower for her youngest son.
“She was a very, very nice girl, full of life and always so stylish,” Saad said of Al-Muhandis, who she said started her own business recently as an event planner. “She was like my little sister.”
Saad, who owns Mosaic Event and Party Rentals in Milton, said she had been working with Al-Muhandis recently.
Mohammed Hamoudi, the president of non-profit organization Mesopotamia Group, said he was shocked to hear of Al-Muhandis’ death.
He said he knew her professionally through her business, Looloo’s Arrangements. She had set up a booth at a cultural event the group organized in April.
Al-Muhandis’ brother, Mohammad, told the media that he was unaware she was in Turkey, but said he received a phone call from her husband confirming her death.
“He told me that she passed away. I don’t even know how to tell my mom,” he said.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement saying he is deeply saddened by the attack against innocent people, including a Canadian.
“On behalf of all Canadians ... I offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of all the victims of this horrible attack, and we hope and pray that those injured have a rapid and complete recovery,” Trudeau said.
“We also grieve the senseless loss of a Canadian citizen and remain steadfast in our determination to work with allies and partners to fight terrorism and hold perpetrators to account.”
Turkish officials say they have arrested eight suspects in their investigation, but they believe the lone gunman — whose image was caught on several CCTV cameras and at one point wearing a Santa Claus outfit — slipped away in the chaos following the shooting.
The gunman was armed with a long-barrelled weapon and killed a policeman and a civilian outside the Reina club around 1:15 a.m. Sunday before entering and firing at people partying inside, said Istanbul Gov. Vasip Sahin.
“Unfortunately, (he) rained bullets in a very cruel and merciless way on innocent people who were there to celebrate New Year’s and have fun,” Sahin said.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack in which 70 people were wounded.

Woman killed in Istanbul attack remembered as happy, always smiling
THE CANADIAN PRESS

MILTON - A friend of an Ontario woman killed in an attack on a Turkish nightclub remembers her as a happy person who was always smiling.
Ahmed Atrakchi said Alaa Al-Muhandis was part of the tight-knit team at Looloo Auto Sales, a car dealership her family ran in Milton.
“She was a great person, always happy, always a big smile on her face and she will forever be loved and remembered,” an emotional Atrakchi said Tuesday.
Al-Muhandis was one of 39 people killed when a gunman opened fire at a nightclub in Istanbul during a New Year’s party. Nearly 70 others were wounded in the attack.
In a CBC News story, a statement from her husband Asal Ahmed described her as an “outgoing, optimistic, and loving” mother of two. He told the state broadcaster that she was an event planner who enjoyed travelling.
ISIS claimed responsibility Monday for the shooting and the lone gunman who carried out the attack remains at large.
The extremists said a “soldier of the caliphate” had carried out the mass shooting to avenge Turkish military operations northern Syria.
The funeral for the 29-year-old mother of two young children is planned for noon Sunday at the Shahrayar Centre in Mississauga, Ont., according to a family friend who didn’t want to be named.
The friend said Al-Muhandis was quiet and sweet.
“The moment you start talking to her, you want to keep talking to that girl,” he said.
“You want to open your heart for her and start telling her your problems.”
The friend said she had spent months overseas, but was shocked to learn she was in Turkey.
Another friend said she had started her own business as an event planner, known as Looloo’s Arrangements.
Milton Mayor Gord Krantz offered condolences to Al-Muhandis’s family and friends.
On Tuesday, an eerie video emerged of a man believed to be the attacker, showing him taking a selfie as he silently toured Istanbul’s most famous square.
The camera never leaves the man’s unsmiling face as he walked through Taksim Square during the 44-second clip that was broadcast on state-run Anadolu television and other Turkish media.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the video was made before or after the New Year’s massacre at the Reina nightclub, or how it was obtained.

I noticed this latest terrorist thread isn't getting much traction, just like all the others.

Shame.
