I wonder if mom was on those antidepressants that cause people to go off the deep end like the killers at columbine.
( the judge ordered their medical records destroyed so that aspect of the incident would not be so easily exposed)
That would be ironic if true, considering her deceased daughter was a new nurse, and would likely have supported their use

It really is sad. The minute I heard the story I knew the mom would have a diagnosed mental illness of some kind... something our society refuses to deal with and would rather brush under the carpet than acknowledge and support people and families who need help. The whole scenario is tragic... and her death was preventable.
