I did the Santa thing for a couple of seasons - until one little bugger whined because he wanted a French Santa. Once the PC freaks have their ways, Santa and his reindeer will be things of the past too....

America has a huge problem with obesity, even amongst its children, so what's the problem in someone telling a child that they're too fat and need to start leading a healthier lifestyle? Instead of punishing people for indulging in "fat-shaming" - one of those silly, trendy terms that has been invented in the last few years - we should be ENCOURAGING people to do it, and then the fatties may then take a good hard look at themselves and do something about it.

Britain, of course, has no obesity problem.

...yet ...

Probably never will. It has to take some going to get as bad as America.

But the issue here isn't the relatively rate of fatsos in America compared to in Britain. The real issue here is fat-shaming - and fat-shaming should be ENCOURAGED, not punished, in a country like America which has a massive obesity problem. The government itself should be indulging in fat-shaming. The more fatsos shamed means more fatsos doing something about their problem.

The kid is only nine and has a double chin...

Speaking of double chins, I heard a rumour that former PM Joe Clarke was the love child of John Diefenbaker. Apparently Dief had a fling with his secretary and Joe was the result.

Come to think of it, the physical similarities between the two are at the very least, compelling.

If the mother called the press with this story, they should have responded properly by shaming her for allowing her kids to get fat and them allowing her fat kid to go sit on people knees.
