CNN anchor Poppy Harlow fainted on air in the middle of a live report on Monday morning.
Harlow, who announced in November that she was five months pregnant, was discussing a CNN/ORC poll on American dissatisfaction with the War on Terror when she got winded. She began slurring her words before trailing off and going silent completely. Harlow's pass-out was not seen on camera and CNN quickly cut to a commercial break.
Concerned viewers took to Twitter for answers to what had happened. The anchor tweeted not long after that she was fine and with a doctor.
"For all of you on Twitter who are asking if I'm okay, thank you so much," Harlow said when she returned on camera. "I got a little hot, and I passed out for a moment. I am fine."
Less than two hours later she gave another update that, while it was a scare, both her and the baby were fine and healthy.
Harlow and her husband Sinisa Babcic are expecting their first child -- a girl.
