China claims that its claim is all the proof we need that the disputed territory is Chinese. Sounds like big bully tactics to me.
If China had a solid case for claiming sovereignty over the disputed area, it would have welcomed international arbitration to settle the dispute once and for all. What's China afraid of? If it fears international arbitration, we can only conclude that it might not have as strong a claim over the region that it wants us to believe, preferring military intimidation over international law.
