well u.s. citizens, keep on enjoying your guns, maybe if these tragedies reach enough individual
towns, finally they will all stand up and fight back, to get those weapons under control.

the sickos, outlaws, terrorists, and others with sad intentions for others, will stay very happy
to be able to pack guns without much of a problem at all.

the original constitutional protection was fine back in that day, but now' all' that does is protect
'very bad' people'. but those who still want the guns to be in everyone's hands, hide behind that
constitution, it is very sad for the good citizen, just trying to live their lives in a good way,
without carrying a gun.

People have been killing each other over minor offenses or slights for millennia. I doubt it'll stop any time soon.

A real tragedy for sure & one it's pretty hard to guard against. Out of 320 million people it only takes one nut case to cause a lot of mayhem. Just remember that gun wasn't guilty of anything until that A$$hole got a hold of it.

I just don't get how changing the Constitution will suddenly prevent the criminal element from obtaining firearms. The reasoning behind that simply doesn't make sense.

it would allow governments to move forward with more stringent rules, and no, of course it wouldn't
completely stop anything, but the choke hold that the gun toters have on the country right now,
doesn't allow anything to happen to control the carrying of firearms.

it is insane for anyone to support the number of guns in that country, it has gone on way way too
long, and might not be possible to get any control now, but doesn't mean, 'just do nothing'.

common sense tells all of us that changing the constitution wouldn't 'suddently' prevent the criminal
element from obtaining firearms, but the criminal element has it 'all' their way now, so just sit
there for the duration and 'do nothing'? scome on.

I am not even saying it would suddenly change anything... I am saying it won't change anything at all...ever. People will be able to get guns just like they can get drugs. Additional gun laws will only affect people who obey laws.

If I read you correctly you think that changing the Constitution then banning guns is going to stop gun violence. Not a chance. If that happens THEN the criminal element will truly have it all their way... each and every time unless there is a cop around.
