George Zimmerman back in court after domestic violence incident

By Peter Holley January 10

George Zimmerman, the man who was acquitted in 2013 of murdering an unarmed black Florida teenager, was arrested Friday night in a domestic violence case, according to news reports.

Police said the 31-year-old was arrested around 10 p.m. in Lake Mary, just outside Orlando, on a charge of aggravated assault, according to the Associated Press. He is being held at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility and is due to appear in court Saturday morning, according to the AP.

“Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault and is currently on a no bond status,” a member of the Sheriff’s Office told NBC News. “The next step in the process is first appearance. At this time, the judge may address bond status.”

Zimmerman may well be an idiot, and prone to violence.

But he did not murder Trayvon Martin.

He shot him in self defense.

Absolutely correct. Now if we can only get you to understand that Zimmerman substantially contributed to the confrontation in which he legally shot Martin in self defence. . .

Interesting how you can shoot an unarmed man to death in self defense.

frigging A...skittles are dangerous

he's a hero don't ya know...protecting his neighbourhood and all

but now, he's just a low life scum bucket

oh wait...some things never change

he might be a PTSD victim.... from the attack and all and the trauma of needing to kill a young kid to protect himself

least ways...that's what I hear

Almost as interesting how a Saint and gem of a human being can stalk and bash a man's head against concrete and be glorified for the assault

The big error here is allowing a peckerhead like Zimmerman to carry a gun in the first place.

Found not guilty whatever. OJ was found not guilty too and for that
matter so was Lizzy Bordon (you know the one who gave her mother
forty whacks) just because the official finding was guilty does not
make one innocent.
The situation was the law in this case was on trial not the person.
The self defense law that has it on a feeling of being unsafe in unstable
hands is a bad law.
Tyrone had no expectation of being held by this punk nor did he have to
ask questions of this punk. Under the feeling not safe defense he might
well have feared for his safety and killed Zimmerman. The difference is
Zimmerman took a gun because he didn't have faith in his own ability.
He was losing a fight he provoked to a teenage kid. He had no authority
to approach him or to ask him any questions. In a younger day I would have
taken on Zimmerman too if he approached me in an aggressive manner.
I know this because i had a person approach me in an aggressive manner
manner and threatening. He moved in to grab me by the collar and he
didn't remember too much after that.
two rules One there ain't no rules and second if he's down don't let him up
The fact is Zimmerman had no legal reason or authority to approach Tyrone
secondly Tyrone wasn't his wife or girlfriend and he couldn't beat Tyrone up.
Justice was not done and now they live with the embarrassment of what they
created. At some point he will hurt someone else its a matter of time
