Our beloved state broadcaster has an article up about how Sarah Palin put a picture on Facebook of her son standing on their dog.

Sarah Palin's son Trig standing on dog draws sharp reaction - World - CBC News

It is an Associated Press story.

The CBC edited out one line, " Trig was born with Down syndrome."

I don't know why, but I suspect that it was to make the story more enjoyable to their audience.

They don't report the news, they manage the news.

but then there's this sh!t:

The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Well, that's one way to reach the sink.Like · · Share · July 1, 2014

There was no outrage when Ellen Degeneres posted a picture of her child standing on a dog to reach the sink. hmmm, wonder why

When Ellen DeGeneres Posted a Kid Standing on a Dog, There Was No Liberal Outrage | Truth Revolt

this is how many are massaged by the MSM, molded into proper citizens and prompted how to react or not. turn your friggin' tv sets off folks and

sheesh.

I think it's a terrible way to show how much you "love" your pet.

It's clearly not been taught to these kids that animals deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

It's also a very bad idea. If the child steps on a dog with arthritis or steps on a dog in a way that breaks a foot bone or such and the dog bites? This might truly be a case where the slippery slope argument has merit.

so anyway...it might be dumb, clever, cutesy or just a old plain boring stupid pet trick...the point is that CBC decides what causes 'sharp reaction' by selectively publishing their highly biased stories about those they see as outside their elitist prog bubble...the populist cool, edgy and celebritastic ellen and her little pic got no attention...they are your intellectual and moral superiors...the sheep lap up the salty goodness of the news-lick. it's pretty pathetic. pretty obvious too.

they could do it on their own dime, not the tax payers. cut these arrogant pricks off the teat.

There is not a tiny portion of anyone life that is not decided for them by an outside source. People do not decide what they will or won't do/think/purchase. Groups of paid people tell them.

Popular paint choices for homes...there's a special group that decides that.

What clothing colour or style is fashionable? There's a seperate group that decides that for society as well.

You think you've chosen an item to purchased based on your research and needs? Nope, marketing decided that for you.

Hell, there is some arguments against people having "free will" from a metaphysical perspective.

That's one perspective. The other is that since we are a group animal we are subject to group think. The internet has made it possible to be influenced by societies and groups from around the globe so it's less regional. But it's still the same as it's always been.

Individuality is a lie we choose to believe.

Why is this a story? Dog wasn't complaining. Not that dogs complain much anyways.

Most people complaining will go on to eat their factory-farm de-beaked chickens tonight.

The real question is why was there no reaction to prior pics? Both are equally wrong and should be reacted to harshly.

Harper must not have had anything to be lambasted today if the CBC was covering it though.

It would seem that there is an animal hater trolling this thread...we've both been handed a thumbs down for standing up for animals...how very very strange.

This is not the single biggest issue facing the USA however having Sara Palin in the
ranks of the Republicans is serious bad publicity. She is a lightning rod for criticism
not just from Democrats but from mainstream Republicans and Independents. Her
conduct in the past demonstrates she is a loose cannon and loose cannons are a
penance for whoever let them into the tent. Sara isn't all bad and first impressions do
count its time for her to go into the political wilderness

I said something negative against Sarah thus the red mark. Doesn't matter that I said the same about Ellen or whomever was the other one.
