CALGARY -- Two brothers are charged in the weekend kidnapping and sexual assault of a teen girl who was abducted while waiting for a bus.The 17-year-old was approached by two men while at a bus stop in the community of Taradale about 11:30 p.m. Friday night.

She was attacked, dragged to a nearby alley and sexually assaulted, and then taken to a home in Martindale where the attacks continued until she was able to escape about 8 a.m. Saturday, police said.

On Sunday, three men from the home were taken into custody and on Monday police charged brothers Corey George Manyshots, 25, and Cody George Manyshots, 21.

Each man has been charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm, assault causing bodily harm, kidnapping, uttering threats and robbery.

The third man arrested at the home, whom police said Sunday may be the brothers' father, was released without charges.

The brothers, clad in white overalls and leg shackles, made brief but separate court appearances Monday morning.

Neither brother addressed court as duty counsel Mark Cluett appeared on behalf of both men.

While the two are charged jointly and should have appeared in court together they were brought in by sheriffs separately.

Crown attorney Heather Morris gave notice she will seek to revoke bail on unrelated charges Corey Manyshots is facing.

Cluett asked Judge Paul Mason to adjourn the cases to next Monday to give the brothers an opportunity to get lawyers.
