Ice sheet collapse because they are growing beyond structurally sustainable proportions. More lies from the AGW fraud.

It appears the Northern hemisphere is heading of a cyclical cooling phase that could last decades or centuries. What are the fraudsters of Global Warming.. or 'climate change' to do.. well blame that on
Anthropogenic 'Climate Change' of course.. ALL outcomes prove their hypothesis.. just change the narrative.. you can fool some of the people all of the time..

Allow us to rewrite that offending paragraph.

"The huge West Antarctic ice sheet is starting a glacially slow collapse in an unstoppable way, two new studies show. A bored Environment Canada scientist says that means even more sea level rise in several hundred years than he figured."

Yes that's how it works coldstream. At the end of the day all the scientists get together and figure out new lies to tell everyone. Just for sh*ts and giggles. Or the money. We all know that reserach scientists make incomes several orders of magnitude more than oil company CEOs.

The internal consistency of your argument is melting faster than the arctic sea ice.

Exactly... all outcomes and all changes. Hot, Cold, Normal... all due to man made climate change.

Right again and THAT is now the goal. To fool more and more so anyone not fooled will not make a difference. When you have the mob you have the power.

Not far off the mark! For the money yes... s**** and giggles no.

It ALL comes down to money. When all is said and done... it comes down to money.

Solutions to man-made climate change? Tax western nations and corporations and distribute wealth. In the end that is what they always say.

No they don't and they are the have-nots. They think they deserve a piece of that wealth... not some a** hole oil company CEO. Why should they have all that money!?!?

They did exactly that at East Anglia, or did you forget about that wee little scam between them and the IPCC?

Do research grants come in the form of money?

Oil Co. execs make money by delivering something that the public demands.

Research scienticians deliver something that no one gives a rat's a s s about

A scathing retort considering that the arctic has been ice free since 2013

See, the problem is that there has been no end of official inquiries into the actions of Mann, as well as the East Anglia crowd which, while finding some fault with the sceintists more or less exonerated them. So then the conspiracy theory widens and now all these organizations that conducted the investigations are lying too. From the wiki (external - login to view)

Quote:

Eight committees investigated the allegations and published reports, finding no
evidence of fraud or scientific misconduct.[15] However, the
reports called on the scientists to avoid any such allegations in the future by
taking steps to regain public confidence in their work, for example by opening up access to their supporting data, processing
methods and software, and by promptly honouring freedom of
information
requests.[16] The scientific consensus that global warming is occurring as
a result of human activity remained unchanged
throughout the investigations.[17]

But it goes further than that. It's not just these few scientists. Virtually every single national academy and professional body associated with the science agrees with AGW. There is not a single profdessional or scientific body that dissents. And yet you'd have us believe that all these people are deliberately lying to everyone. It simply stretches credulity to imagine a conspiracy of that scope.

Yeah, what has sceintific research ever done for humankind? Listen to how ridiculous you sound.

Bottom line.
Nobody in this thread can tell global climate change from shine-ola.
Nice grouping of opposing opinions though.
Keep up the good work.

The leaked emails spoke for themselves.. Volumes in fact

Sure they have, much like your entire way of life is founded on the consumption of energy, primarily of hydrocarbons.

Shocked! I come here for fine advice on a range of topics. The health consultations alone are solid advice. Everything after the OP is internet gold! A finer collection of anonymous know-it-alls, you will not find. Tacit knowledge and experience is over-rated, who needs doctors and scientists?

Besides who doesn't love rummaging through the bargain bins. Mostly crap, sometimes you may find a pleasant surprise

Ice caps are melting? I've been standing in the same place for 50 years and haven't seen the sea rise. F'n scientists.

And yet Alarmists can find someone from an impoverished nation to say that he indeed is able to see the sea rise!

Shocking isn't it?

Again, numerous investigations gfound otherwise. But even given that these guys were all lying, and given that eight ibnvestigations into their conduct were all by liars--it's still just a handful of scientists. The conspiracy you imagine would invovle tens or hundreds of thousands of people.

Logic isn't your strong point, is it? This statement has nothing to do with the discussion at hand where you stated that scientific research is useless. If you can't even reconcile what a mind-bogglingly stupid statement that is, then there's nothign I can do to help you.

What part of the content of the emails that conspired to fix results don't you understand.

I could care less how many Blue Ribbon Panels that the UN/IPCC organize to contain the damage of those emails.

Amazing how you truthers can't get your head around reality

I never made any such statement... You wanted to interpret that message and in your wee tiny mind, it became so.

.. And you talk about logic as if you possess even the smallest shred of such.

Nice

And that about sums it up. I mean, if it's your opinion that the contribution of scientists to the good of humanity worlds can be summed up by the word "bupkis", well--people can draw conclusions from there.

We're talking about Global Warming research scientists Einstein, not every branch of scientific study.

Sheesh - are you being deliberately dense on this or have you finally understood that you are on the losing end of this exchange?

Einstein wasn't a scientist.

Wow, a little sanity on climate change. Undoubtedly to be shouted down by both sides.
