just kill me ffs

SUDBURY, Ont. - Police in this northern Ontario city saved a bear that could not get a large plastic jar off its head.

The white container had been used to store birdseed and police said the black bear likely wanted a snack when it stuck its head inside.

Police responded to a call around 5:30 a.m. Sunday of the bear walking down the street with the jar stuck on its head.

The bear could not get the jar off its head and continued to wander around, walking into a variety of objects, including a police cruiser.

The Ministry of Natural Resources was contacted and the bear was tranquilized.

The container had to be cut in order to remove it from the bear’s head.

The bear will be relocated.

In the bush near Sudbury
Ba'ar won't be checking out any more jars. People just don't get the message. Heck, I even flatten garbage-bound tin cans. Sad part is MNR says it will relocate THAT bear, but they stopped relocating bears a couple of years back. We have a problem up here this year - bears waking up and there's still a foot and a half of snow in the bush

People need to become smart and we need to allow the bears to be bears. If you don`t want to do what is necessary to prevent bears becoming a problem, then you have no choice but to have to stay in your house if there`s bear around.

People don`t need protection from bears. People need protection from their own stupidity. Maybe a few days stuck inside would sort them out.
