Maybe he had a Bday card in his pocket.
It is CBC where they play fast and loose with reality. Not like in the old days when they had good balanced news and programs.

Lol, are you astounded that someone could collide with a parked semi or that they can more easily tell that he's dead before figuring out who he is?

Of course too just because the press release is stating he's unidentified doesn't mean they don't know who he is, just that they are not identifying him at this time. Probably pending notification of next of kin.

How hard is it to report that "his identity is not being released at this time due to................................."

Maybe he had a Bday card in his pocket.

Great minds think alike, I was going to suggest there was a cake with 21 candles on the seat of the vehicle! -:)

Global News did not tell us how they know he was 21 either................

RCMP officers are investigating a fatal collision between an SUV and a flat deck trailer.

Police say a 21-year-old man crossed the centre line and struck the commercial trailer.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the Aldergrove area on Gloucester Way near 268 Street.

Police say the road will remain closed for most of the day as they investigate the crash.

The accident is Langley’s third fatal collision of the year.
