Yes, here's hoping. Enough of these ridiculous 2 and 3 year sentences. And I like the notion of consecutive sentences for those with multiple victims. Now let's see if that becomes a reality.

The RCMP would also create a database of "high risk" child sex abusers that would group provincial data into a centralized system accessible to the public.

it would also be awesome if we could figure out how they are created... but it would appear from recent research to be predisposed which is scary.

I would say for rape yes sort of...but this type of rape is very specific because it isn't just about an assertion of power as an aphrodisiac it is also a sexual preference which makes it really complex. We don't choose our sexual preference we can only choose whether or not to indulge it. I doubt most people would choose to forgo sex.

But the piece missing here also is consent by two adults.

We need people to do those jobs no one else wants to do anyway. We can put them to good economically productive use unclogging sewers and such. Makre sure they're trained for nuclear emergencies too and such emergency services no one else would want to get involved in.

Provide adequate protective gear of course so we can resuse them as much as possible.

This is something that should be considered a no-brainer. If you hurt children (particularly sexually) you should be treated as harshly as possible.

Since so many people are squeamish about imposing the supreme sentence, how about them spending the rest of their natural daysin a concrete bunker at a temperature of 10C. (Just cool enough to keep them a little uncomfortable)
