Maybe they can't it, because it's a spoofed call, and the number is meaningless. I won't bore you with how it is done, except to say that it involves entering the information into something called the CNUM field.

It's the newest way telemarketers can call you without being caught.

How to stop calls from Phone 234-567-890? << 9 digit numbers..

I use PhonePower.com and they seem to be the only phone company than can block these spoofed callers..

I grew up there. Parts of Columbia St are like East Vancouver. The call was probably from some drunk with nothing else to do.

Actually, they fixed it all up.. was there a year ago and it's a total transformation..

...and new Condos have been built up all over the place.

I drive through once a year or so-did last month in fact- that's enough.

Take a look up that street, past the condos - which, of themselves look seedy. Not a good spot for after dark walks.
