Chinese official executed for raping 11 girls
An official in central China's Henan province was executed Tuesday for raping 11 girls, sources said Wednesday. Li Xingong, former deputy secretary general of the Yongcheng city committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), was arrested in May 2012 on charges of raping several girls starting from the second half of 2011, reported Xinhua. It took a long time for this Chinese Communist official to complete eleven separate rapes. From this deduction I conclude that Chinese justice is not swift when it comes to members of the Communist Party.

Efficient but draconian. Even proponents of the death penalty likely wouldnt agree with every capital offense in China. Last I checked they had around 50 crimes which are punishable by death. Quite a few are not for violent offenses.

Ya but, they are over crowded anyway. China is about to experience a bust phase in their economy and it is not going to be pretty. I think they are going to have to come with a lot more creative ways to thin out their population. Ya gotta look on the practical side of stuff. The US may be in the same boat soon too with their economy crashing and burning. May even see that in our main urban centers.

The worlds economy is going to collapse, all we did in 2008 was set the time table back
for a while. Nothing was corrected just set aside.
As for the Chinese Justice system, people think its great until it happens to them or their
family members. Then its not so good. Besides most people who advocate for such a
system don't want to live their. Its a climate of fear and not justice or hope.
I do agree there are a few crimes so ugly that the death penalty might be an option but
not for everything one can think of.

The DP wasn't a deterrent for this guy. For a penalty I would much rather he sit in a six foot square box for the rest of his natural life. Execution is his easy way out of misery.

True. Some on death row commit suicide for that reason id imagine. Too long of a wait.

I imagine a large population collapse will do just that. Far too many men and not enough women to reproduce and keep the population where it is. That wouldnt be such a bad thing though.
