Man held as four stabbed at mosque in Birmingham

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after four people, including a policeman, were stabbed at a mosque in Birmingham.

Officers were called to the mosque on Washwood Heath Road in Ward End at about 23:00 BST on Saturday.

West Midlands Police said three men were found with stab injuries.

As police arrested the man, who is 32 years old, the officer was also wounded. All four are in a stable condition in hospital.

The incident began during the final prayer session of the evening.

Eyewitnesses report that a man of Somali appearance began attacking worshippers with a machete.

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention to the Middle East for the last. . . thirteen hundred years or so.

Birmingham (which is Britain's second-biggest city) is one of those places that the Left loves - very multicultural with the ethnic minorities trying their best not to integrate into British society.

A perfect example of this occurred this morning. Cricket's Champions Trophy Final is being played today between England and India at Birmingham's Edgbaston cricket ground (or, at least, it should be but, unfortunately, rain is delaying play at the moment and if there is no match at all or if less than 20 overs are bowled per side out of the total of 50 for each side - less than 20 does not constitute a match - then the trophy will be shared between the two teams) and when the England players' names were read out by the stadium announcer the Indian fans booed. Now I can just about understand it if the Indian fans there were actual Indians - although it'd still be bad manners - but the chances are that the vast majority of those India fans booing the England team are British citizens of Indian descent who were born in Britain and are probably natives of Birmingham.

Police in Walsall, 10 miles from Birmingham, investigating a suspicious package left outside a mosque have said they are treating it as a "hate crime".

About 150 people were evacuated from homes around the mosque in Rutter Street after bomb disposal experts were called to the scene.

The item, not yet identified, was found on Friday evening but police were not called until it was taken inside by a member of the public on Saturday.

No threats were made to the mosque and police are "keeping options open".

Police said the evacuation of the area was "precautionary and temporary"

Remember the thread about citing only one group for terrorists on the buses?
Seems no on is able to find enough White, Hispanic, African Americans, and
others to filling enough photo's for the length of the bus and why is it the Muslim
crowd can be featured? Because it is a daily occurrence in their world to inflict
violence on others. Everyday, bombings, stabbings, honour killings and the
list goes on. Can you imagine if we all behaved this way?
Tolerance is not part of their culture, so they are somehow allowed to threaten
everyone else's culture, enough of this. Something has to be done to protect the
citizens of the countries these people are in. Terrorists are not neighbours they
are a threat to society
