In typical moronic right wing fashion, the CCrap, oops, CPAC meeting breaks out in an assertion that slavery was a good thing:

CPAC “minority outreach” session debates whether slavery was a good thing for blacks (video)

CPAC "minority outreach" session debates whether slavery was good

At today’s CPAC conference, the largest and most important GOP/conservative conference of the year, an argument broke out during the “minority outreach” session as to whether slavery was a good thing for African-Americans.
A supporter of Rick Santorum in the audience seemed to suggest that slaveowners had nothing to be forgiven for, since they fed and housed their slaves.
It went downhill from there.

Now you see why this party cannot get minorities to vote for it. And no, it was not intended as comic relief. ;)

It's an AP hit piece. AP is so far up the Bamster's behind all they heard were things they could twist out of context. Yellow journalism at it's best.

Lord suffering you know who, the Republicans really don't need this kind of exposure

On the free speech thread there are accusations of the left being far more closed minded and disruptive than is the far right. This is just one of many examples which prove otherwise.

Yet, the far right members of this forum continue to insist they are correct without giving any proof of it.

Republicans may not want this type of news to be disclosed but we see examples of this on a daily basis. It cost them the election in November and it will do so again in 2016. They have only themselves, not the left, to blame.

Against the political right, in the National Post? That doesn't seem very likely, and they don't read like hit pieces either, they look like fairly straightforward reporting. Sarah Palin doesn't need any help at looking like a fool.

I entered the thread expecting this to be in the Fun & Jokes subforum due to the titles of the thread. Imagine my surprise...

NP being lazy. They are not a right wing newspaper. They are an objective paper and carry stories from across the political spectrum. As noted the Palin piece came directly from AP and the AP licks the inside of the Bamster's **** sphincter.
