Either we get the NDP as the official opposition which represent all of Canada,or next time we get again the bloc who represent idiots.

If people don't see through Tommy, he'll be representing a lot of idiots!

Actually it does...................just too many people like this sh*t!
Funny thing that was notice here in quebec, people aren't voting as they should, many say its useless, which allowed Charest to kept the seat for some time now,but they do not mind wasting $1 to vote for the loser of the week on "Star Academie" quebec version of Canadian Idol.

That thing reads like it was written by captain morgan. Here's a few things..

1.) Subjective assertion about his mortgage dealings - I wouldn't make any assumptions yet, and using the term "champagne socialist" is a clear red flag about her ..um.. allegiances.

2.) Dutch disease has already been shown. If you want to split hairs about the degree of influence, that's fine, but her rhetoric is clearly some form of shilling.

3.) She takes one sound bite about his commentary on the vastness of the oilsands and turns it into a negative. Then she changes the goalpost and goes for the divisive attack which we've all heard before and has been debunked.

Also, she's a self-proclaimed conservative so there is no doubt some influence there.

I can understand criticism, but she's just reciting a lot of talking points that we've gone over already.

The bloc doesn't give a flying frak about the rest of Canada.

and every time Harper and the tories wanted to pass some laws, the bloc were always saying no,no matter what the law was for.

Neither does the NDP if you do not belong to a government union.

Somewhat off topic maybe:
A person that grew up in the same union logging camp as me is an organizer for the BCGEU. She is currently in Wisconsin helping with a recall petition to overthrow the rightly elected government. Calling it union solidarity.
Now I am wondering where this self same union was when the Ontario Teachers pension fund was firing unionized loggers and mill workers at TimberWest so they could contract out the logging jobs to the lowest bidder and export logs to the highest bidder so they could make higher gains for THEIR union members.
Or does union solidarity only work if it is another government union?

I'm still watching this unfold before I make up my mind on which alternative to Harper
I am willing to accept. So far the Conservatives are steering me to Mulcair and the
reason is, Harper only attacks people he can beat into submission or people who scare
the hell out of him. Mulcair does all of that and more. Not only is he a worthy opponent
Canadians like him and if he gets a little more popular three years won't be enough to
stop him. I am waiting to see what the Liberals do and so far they are not being accepted
by the public anymore, Mulcair is. All I do know is we have to get rid of what we have,
and put a stop to the sell out of our Country by a gang of social conservatives who have
bought up all of the sheep's clothing costumes in Canada.
If Tory attacks keep coming and the National Post says Mulcair is bad it makes me want to
give him a much closer look at the right alternative.

I think you are looking at Mulcair with one eye closed. Pay attention to Dianne Francis- she's a smart lady!

And of course HIS thoughts are original and not tied to any agenda, yep, sure.
Destroying 500 thou good paying jobs and replacing them with what? A form of pogey? Who pays for that? The taxpayers whose herd has been thinned to the point of diminishing returns? I would be more concerned with "Greece disease" than Dutch.

I sincerely hope that paybec remains entirely NDP, the long term consequence/lesson would be exquisite, kinda like quarantining a disease;-)

If by paybec you mean quebec, don't count on it,many are apparently regretting voting for the NDP,and they say next election they'll go back to the bloc.

Yes, we know, if you can't articulate a critical point, just say Greece.

And there is nothing critical about an obvious lesson?
The NDP should welcome an opportunity to prove their theory that all should be boiled down the least common denominator. Oddly enough the very academics who most loudly sing the praises of socialism are the most virulent about not accepting a wage cut.
