No, Needles, Used Condoms and Medical Waste are NOT OK, and whenever possible they prosecute the people that deposit that junk on the beaches and in the waters, where it washes up on the beaches.

And, as an ex-smoker myself, I applaud them for doing this. There is no reason why cigarette butts (and second hand smoke) should be where a lot of children play in the sand.
