Saskatchewan's environment minister is fuming about a report that says the province isn't taking climate change seriously.
Dustin Duncan says he's disappointed that the David Suzuki Foundation released the report without talking to the province about what it's doing to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
The report classified Saskatchewan as a jurisdiction which doesn't take the issue seriously.
Duncan says the province has invested billions of dollars in technology such as carbon capture to reduce emissions from coal-fired power plants.
The report also criticizes the province for eliminating its Climate Change Secretariat and its Office of Energy Consumption.
Duncan says the secretariat was announced by the previous NDP government but never created, and the province has never had an office of energy consumption.
