National Aboriginal Health Organization’s funding cut

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/story/2012/04/09/north-naho-funding-cut.html

Despite on all the photo ops involving the federal government on supporting the Aboriginal community this cut says it all on what they really think.

Looks like expensive fighter-bomber jets trumps human life.

Fiascos is the middle name of our Conservative federal government and the voter has to pay for their mistakes it’s just to bad the voter can’t remember this in the election booths

You still haven't figured why a FN people in Tuk might have more pressing issues that need to be address first and foremost than issues of someone in St John's?

NAHO focuses on issues strictly related to aboriginal health across Canada and is probably the best source of information related to that. It's not just a matter of FN peoples being able to access medical services.

This is the fed handing off typically federal duties to the provinces and I would make a bet that the Canada Health Transfer payments to the provinces and territories won't be boosted to accommodate the cut.
Federal myopia and clinical stupidity rearing their heads yet again. Unreal.
