Battlefield interpreter gets justice...only took 19 months

After public opinion finally revealed what contemptuous snot suckers Harper and Kenny are, they finally allowed an Afghan into Canada who would have been killed by the Taliban. A battlefield interpreter who helped save Canadian lives, and who Harpo was going to allow to be left behind, twisting in the wind.

Our country's rep gets shredded more and more each day by these ideologically driven idiots.

The United States left all kinds of people like this behind in Vietnam as well.
We want to accept all who participated in working with us? What about all
the women who will go back to misery once Karzai makes a deal with the Taliban?
I agree that we have to look after some but, and but is the word here, is this guy
a person who might have committed other offences and what do we know about
him prior to working with Canadians?
We are supposed to be making this nation safe for all and if we were in fact doing
our job and providing a better future there would be no need for people to flee and
come to Canada. What in the hell does this say about what we accomplished?

Hopefully this person who risked his life to help Canadian soldiers will still be alive next summer when his papers finally clear. What about the rest of them or did we only have 1 Afghan working for us?

Actually, 19 months is relatively speedy. Some people wait years to be allowed to come to Canada. There's no rhyme nor reason in the CIC.
